Events

The Chihuahua Club of America (CCA) is the official AKC parent club for the breed and serves as the guardian of the Chihuahua standard in the United States. Each year, the CCA hosts premier events—both the Regional and National Specialties—which brings together top breeders, exhibitors, and fanciers from across the country to celebrate the breed through conformation and educational activities. In addition, Member and Specialty Clubs of the CCA host local specialties throughout the year, offering more opportunities to showcase the breed. The CCA also conducts judges education throughout the year to ensure the accurate and consistent evaluation of Chihuahuas in the ring. Together, these events and initiatives promote responsible breeding, sportsmanship, and a lasting appreciation for the Chihuahua.
